I was so proud of Chloe. She was so cute during the Christmas program. Her class sang 5 songs and she knew most of them but there were a couple that her singing was a little inconsistent. But what she lacked in singing she sure made up for it in cuteness. After the program she told me she chose where to stand...guess where that was...in the center of the front row! :) Here are a couple of pictures. (I have a short video that I was going to post but decided that other parents may not want video of their children posted on the internet.) Also, in her defense, she only goes to school 3 days a week. I am pretty sure the other kids in her class go all 5 days so they had more time to practice. :)
This is my attempt at blogging. I may do this for a couple of days and hate it or I may find that I really enjoy it. Who knows?!?!?

It's been a while....
Sorry I have neglected my blog lately. Things have been busy lately and I just haven't had the time. I guess if I spent more time posting on my own blog instead of being nosey and reading other people's I would have more time. :) Chloe & Cayla are wonderful! Cayla is wild and so funny...well, actually they both are. They will both do anything for a laugh. Chloe has her Christmas program at school tonight. I know she will do great but she assures me that she has no idea what her class is going to sing. She said "I will listen to what the children (I guess she doesn't consider herself one of the children) sing and follow along." That's a great idea! Only one problem...this is a class for 3 year olds and I feel pretty certain the other kids do not know what to sing. I can't wait to see how she does. Eric asked me last night if there was going to be enough room in the church tonight for Chloe and all the paparazzi...um, I mean...adoring fans. I THINK she will have about 15 people there. I will probably post pics tomorrow. Just in case you are going through withdrawals...here is a recent pic of C & C.

Boo!

Scared ya, didn't I??? I am a pretty scary little mouse, huh? We had a great time last night at Trunk or Treat at church. There were a lot of kids there and Chloe and Cayla had a great time. Chloe was SUCH a beautiful Princess Cinderella and Cayla was one of her mice. Look how grown up Chloe looks...
She was so polite and they were both VERY well behaved. We all had a great time!!

For Goodness STEAKS!
This is a small portion of a conversation I had with Chloe yesterday after I picked her up from school.
Me: Did you have fun at school today?
C: I don't want to talk about it. (This is her usual response)
Me: What did you have for snack.
C: I dont remember....goldfish!
M: Who brought snack?
C: I don't know the boy's name?
M: Was it Carson?
C: I don't know.
M: Was it Jason?
C: I don't know the boy's name!
M: Was it Luke?
C: FOR GOODNESS STEAKS MOMMY! YOU HAVE ASKED ME SIX TIMES. I TOLD YOU I DO NOT KNOW!
There is nothing like being "put in your place" by a 3 1/2 year old! :)

Time to settle down...
This past weekend I went to Gatlinburg with 3 of my closest friends. We had such a great time just relaxing and talking and hanging out. It was such a nice break from the "real world" and was so refreshing. I love these girls and would do anything for them. I am already looking forward to our next "EE" weekend. The only bad thing about the weekend was that I came home to a sick husband. Poor thing...he had strep throat. I missed Chloe and Cayla so much and I think they missed me too. Cayla is officially walking but she still likes to crawl too. Here are some of Cayla's ONE year pics. The first three are a set "I am 1" I scanned them so they are not great quality. Hopefully I will have a link to all of them soon. Enjoy!

Bragging....Shamelessly :)
Ok Ok! I just have to do it. Here is a link to some pictures that we had taken of Chloe and Cayla. Check them out if you get a chance. We loved the photographer! She was awesome! If you need pictures taken you should contact her. There is a link to her on the right side of my page: Elana P Jones Photography.
